Video Team announced today that they have signed director David Aaron Clark to an exclusive one-year contract that calls for Clark to turn in six titles.
"There's an unusual atmosphere at Video Team, one in which I actually feel comfortable," a pleased Clark said. "I've never been lucky enough to work at a place where there's a talented and experienced staff that's solidly behind what I do, so I admit to a certain feeling of shock and awe."
Clark will continue producing his Asia Noir and No Man's Land Asian lines for Video Team, as well as another, as yet untitled, series that will feature fresh Asian faces.
Clark, who says he will never shoot anything other than Asian-themed videos again, has been most recently receiving accolades for his craftsmanship on the recent Video Team video Asia Noir, which recently received an AVN Editor's Choice.
An exuberant Video Team President, Christian Mann added, "Having David aboard is a significant step toward realizing my end goal: to release movies that are high-end and sexually intense. David's movies are unique. They offer something different, but they never sacrifice the sex. Our mission is two-fold: to make great movies, and to let people know it. David always has a "buzz" about him and I expect we'll be hearing a lot from this guy."
As part of his contract, Clark will also serve as an In-House Production Consultant.
This was Video Team's second signing in as many weeks. Earlier this month, the adult production company signed Daisy as a contract performer.
