Video Team Rolls Out 'Shelf Talkers'

Video Team has introduced its new merchandising tool, "shelf talkers."

At the request of retailers and distributors alike, Video Team created its new "shelf talker" to promote brand awareness and help direct the consumer to the product they may want to purchase or rent. Video Team's "shelf talkers" offer colorful signage without taking away valuable retail space.

"Shelf talkers" can easily be moved to any desired shelving or display system with their semi-adhesive backing strip.

The No Man's Land and Afro-Centric Productions versions each feature vibrant neon colors, while Ethnicity Films and My Baby Got Back boast shiny silver foil lettering.

The idea is to help market the lines in a way that is easy for the retailer to use. "Producers need to do anything extra they can to make their product stand out on the store shelf, and these will definitely be of use to us at the retail level. If it's easy to use, looks attractive and helps sell

product, we want it," said Debi Yoskey of General Video of America -Cleveland.
