Video Liquidators Mourns Loss of Snow

Video Liquidators is very sorry to announce the passing of one of its core family members, Richard Snow.

Snow died on Sunday at age 56. He started with Video Liquidators in 1994, not long after the late Dennis Wurgler opened his first store location. Snow soon became an indispensable asset to the company and one of Wurgler’s closest friends. With Wurgler’s passing in 1997, Snow stepped up to help his son Jeff run the company in a general manager capacity, and in the process developed some close personal friendships in the adult industry.

“People just naturally gravitated toward Snow's warm-hearted and kind nature,” Jeff Wurgler said.

Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid Entertainment Group, said Wednesday that he knew Snow for at least 11 years.

“He sold a lot of everybody’s product, not just Vivid. He was a big supporter of the adult business,” Levine said. “The guy literally lived and breathed it. He’d get up and he’d go to work. The other thing he did was ride his Harley or talk about NASCAR. All of his friends at Vivid are definitely very sorry for this loss.”
