Vertigo's 'Go Hard or Go Home' Party Lives Up to Billing

The Boo Yah Tribe rolled in with an entourage. Vince Neil and Gene Simmons made the rounds. UFC fighter Frank Trigg was spotted. The first ever “Go Hard or Go Home” drew a capacity crowd of 1,000-plus Friday night at the ultra chic OPM nightclub inside Caesar's Palace.

Vertigo Video collaborated with American Hardcore, Zero Tolerance, Third Degree, Smash Pictures and lukeford.com on the star-studded event that kicked off with an open bar courtesy of Red Rum and Voodoo Rum from 11 to midnight. The hip-hop crowd grooved to the turbo-charged sounds of DJ Jam from Cypress Hill and DJ Muggs of Snoop Dogg fame.

“It was a madhouse,” T.J. DiReda, co-owner of Vertigo, said later when he came up for air.

The line to get inside OPM was staggering, an anxious mob that spilled into the long hallways of Caesar's Forum Shops. It was even difficult to find the front of the procession. Porno celebrities occupied nearly every area of the club. Jenna Haze, Ariana Jollee, Taylor Rain, Justine Joli, Rita Faltoyano, Alexis Malone, Kaylynn, Trinity, Brooke, Jessica Drake and Monica Sweetheart were among the adult film stars mingling along with Lexington Steele, Jules Jordan, Mr. Marcus, Mandingo, Brad Armstrong, Pat Myne, Chris Streams, Craven Moorehead, lukeford.com writer Scott Fayner and several others. Some of the younger porn stars were unable to gain entry because “they were really strict about the age limit,” DiReda said.

The Asian-themed venue with a zen garden ambiance featured dimly lit rooms, buddhas everywhere and a spacious VIP room containing at least 10 booths. DiReda and Zero Tolerance marketing guru Travis Nestor worked closely with heavyweight Vegas promoters John Huntington (Pimp & Ho, Club Rubber) and Tony Verdugo on the party that blended in with the Drai's after-hours crowd and carried on until 10 a.m. Saturday.
