CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Third Degree Films has teamed with Canada's Venus Channel to bring its hot-selling Alektra Blue Interactive to pay-per-view. The movie premieres tonight at 8 p.m. EST on Channel 750.
"This is the first time an interactive adult DVD has been made available through pay-per-view," Third Degree publicist Scott Stein told AVN. "We worked with Venus to make the video into an hour-long, linear movie in which the viewer can select different options through their remote control. It's really revolutionary."
The PPV version of Alektra Blue incorporates the DVD options as ten pop-up windows that occur at key points in the program. Viewers can choose between different pop shots, positions, angles and a "slutty/sexy" menu that controls Alektra's performance.
The Alektra interactive show will run throughout the weekend. The Venus Channel plans to offer additional interactive titles in the future.
