Venus Bomb may be the self-described Queen Bitch of adult entertainment, but talking to the former Extreme Associates performer draws her into a round of friendly, laughter-laced talk, especially talking about the new Website she has unwrapped, StreetcarDesires.com, "whip in hand, to kick ass and take the name of any unwilling, groveling person who would dare stand in her way."
In development since December, the site features some choice videos for sale plus fashion and novelty products, from companies as diverse as VCA, Nasswalk and Latex Fashions, Smash Pictures, Legal Skin Line, and the Asian Bondage Collection from Asia Co. But you won't be able to see new video work from Venus herself until next year; she told AVNOnline.com she plans to begin shooting her own material this summer.
"I had my own line of Venus Bomb when I worked for Xon Entertainment, and I was shooting for Seduction Entertainment, a fetish line of videos for them, and I would love to be doing fetish stuff again, but probably not until the summer, so for now I'm offering a variety of product from other companies," she said.
"And, oh, gosh, I've got novelties, I've got toys that are going up that aren't available yet, but you can get into them here," she continued. "All types of clothing, I'm also very, very on top of that end of the industry, so there's a lot of latex stuff and the latest lingerie and dance stuff."
And Venus is also working on a section called Talent Goodies, which for now features tastefully arresting imagery of her, but she plans to expand that considerably, to sell images and other items from other adult industry performers. "If girls want to sell panties, they can sell them here, if they want to sell stuff from their shoots, they can do that here, I'm going to be expanding on that," she said.
She left Extreme "just because of a lot of various things that were going on, and I wanted to do my own thing," and she said doing her own Website, and planning her own coming shooting, means a bright enough looking future.
"You know," she continued, taking pains not to pile onto the problems now surrounding Extreme, "Rob (Black) took really good care of me. I can't complain about that. He was a good guy to meet, and he took care of me while I was there. But I had issues with the things that were going on around him. I saw a lot of potential there, but now that I've broken away from that I'm able to flourish and pursue things I want to pursue, with my writing, my directing, my being able to get products people would enjoy."
Venus admits to having something of a dual personality. "I'm pretty down to earth, but you know there's a part of me that's normal and a part of me that likes the platform shoes, and the six-inch heels, and the skintight latex, and to whip people hard with latex paddles," she said, through a friendly laugh. "And it's kind of nice because I have all this freedom now. And if I want to put a talking dildo on my Website, I can, dammit. There's no way to stop me. It's Venus Bomb unleashed on an unsuspecting world."
