Van The Man and Pagan Films; Randy Spears Promises Free Scene

As he says "the hiatus is over," and Van "The Man" Damage confirms that his new production company Pagan Films releases its first feature sometime in May with Tiffany Mynx starring in The Toe Story. Besides Mynx and Damage, the deal includes Jane Waters. Zane distributes.

"We'll be releasing a couple of features a month," says Damage. "We'll try to keep the same type on energy that I did when I started with another company. For the first three months we'll be doing two a month and then we'll bump it up to one a week."

G. Ross: "I take it Tiffany is contract-status in this whole arrangement."

Damage: "I think it's back to where she's contract and director. Remember Rob [Black] and his whole spiel that she's the highest paid contract girl in this business because she owns her product? Well this time it's true...we're also going to do a movie called The Pagan Goddess, a ritual movie. It's going to be very cult-ish. It'll be very atmospheric."

Damage says he doesn't think he'll be talent this time around as much as he'll be directing. "I think you guys have seen enough of my chubby little ass on the screen. They got a lot of new kids coming into this business that are promising."

G. Ross: "I notice the Mynxster's looking a lot blonder these days."

Damage: "I think that she's just tanner so the hair looks lighter."

G. Ross: "She's blindingly blond."

Perhaps not as blond, but Damage relays this story about Randy Spears. "We were shooting a scene for Tiffany's movie [The Toe Story]," says Damage. "It takes place in a shoe store. She goes to see this scurvy little salesman who's going to be played by Randy Spears. We get a location on Hollywood Boulevard. We get the lights. I've got the store, the whole inventory, the backroom. We're lighting it up, and I got people there just for dialogue. We're waiting for Spears to show up. He calls up saying he's just 15 minutes away. Five hours later we start wrapping up the set. We get out of there, no word from Spears. I see him at the XRCO. He comes up to us, his head bowed with that little boy grin on his face. 'I got in a little trouble,' he says. 'I made a U-turn on Hollywood Boulevard, and, well, I had some warrants.' He grins and said how much did that project cost you? Tiffany just looks at him and says, please, Randy, don't go there. He goes, look, next time you need me, I'll do anything you want for free.

Damage also relays this amusing tidbit, claiming that Mynx got a call from Dale Jordan at Elegant Angel saying they'd like to know if there's any way then can possibly have her back as a performer, that they have a lot of big projects coming up. "Talk about balls," Damage laughed. "Holy shit. Are we going to get a call from Rob, next?"
