Mike Ross reports: "In the closing days of 1999, I had the pleasure of spending last Thursday with Jane Hamilton of VCA Pictures. Jane and I met to review, edit and make plans for the educational lobbying Video/CD ROM that we've been working on, and will be releasing to the community later this year.
The video, starring Julie Ashton, Nina Hartley, Mike Horner, Dave Cummings, Kyle Ireland, Sindee Cox, Christal Knights, Stacy Valentine, Cristy Lake and other XXX stars is going to be used in a three fold fashion:
1) Public Relations: To promote our cause before the media; \n2) General Education: To help educate and involve consumers, politicians and the press; \n3) Fund-raising: To raise money for political purposes.
Although the cost of the video has yet to be established, we're going to propose the following to the adult entertainment community:
1) The video can be used by all groups as a membership enhancement or encentive, with members (or contributors) receiving videos/CD ROMS to either sell or give away. \n2) The video will be used to promote local 1st Amendment Events; \n3) To organize the industry in preparation of November's Campaign 2000.
The project is now in its final stages, and will be released to the public in the next 2 or 3 months. The movie will be between 35 and 40 minutes long, and will include a wealth of political information ranging from names and Email addresses of political officials to a booklet on how to lobby.
