LAS VEGAS - VCX is releasing two hardcore movies made 38 years apart ---Johnny Wadd (1970) starring John Holmes and Craig'sList Compulsion (2008)-on Sept. 23. The one-two punch brings together one of the earliest hardcore movies with an up to date video from the Internet age.
"Both titles are going to be huge for VCX," said owner David Sutton. "And I have high hopes for them, in the classic and new release categories, come awards time in January."
Johnny Wadd was the first movie in which the legendary Holmes portrayed the private dick character that was to become his alter ego. Director Bob Chinn unearthed a pristine first-run answer print from which the DVD was made. Extras include an interview with Chinn and a director's commentary.
Craig'sList Compulsion is a storyline feature, set in Las Vegas, conceived and directed by B. Jones and shot in High-Def widescreen by AVN award-winner JackTheZipper. "It has fantastic music, wonderful editing and most importantly, great sex," Sutton said. The stars are Annie Cruz, Nikki Rhodes, Roxy DeVille, Ashley Roberts and Prinzzess Sahara.
Both titles are packaged in a foil-stamped O-ring.
