Jennifer James Film's release, Memoirs of a Modern Day Geisha, streets May 2, and will be the first release on VCA's May schedule.
Shot entirely in HD, a spokesperson for the company said that there is a harder edge to the sex than the audience is used to seeing in director Jennifer James films. The title is a story of two friends that share life-changing events brought about by past rivalries and passionate revenge.
James said, "It's pretty hardcore. That's all I can call it. . . . It's a different direction than most of the gonzo out there certainly, but it's raw and hot and not what most people think of in an adult feature with a fully realized plot and set styling."
James said that Memoirs marks a new phase for JJF Productions and introduces the new true HD editing facility JJF Post. "I have gone back to the way I used to shoot porn," explains James. "It used to be me and a camera, a small crew and I did all the editing myself. I'm back to that now. With this movie, I handled everything from the script to the post-production.”

Memoirs of a Modern Day Geisha stars Kaiya Lynn, Mika Tan, Annie Cruz, Naomi Zen, Nick Manning, Tommy Gunn and Kyle Stone.
