Adult movie star Sunset Thomas will appear Thursday, June 17, at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood to promote the VCA release Misty Beethoven: The Movie.
Thomas, who plays the title role in the musical remake of the 1976 porn classic, will be meeting fans and signing copies of the movie beginning at 7 p.m., according to Peter Reynolds, VP of Sales and Marketing.
VCA is backing up what Reynolds calls "the ultimate couples film," directed by former porn star Veronica Hart, with a major promotion campaign.
Reynolds told AVN.com that it will "utilize alternative rock radio stations coast to coast in playing the soundtrack, discussing the film, and conducting various contests to increase consumers awareness in the project."
The movie has been in stores since June 1. A soundtrack CD will be released separately July 27 on the Reality Entertainment label, distributed by Caroline Distribution.
