University of Iowa to Offer Class in Porn

Should tax dollars go to educating our nation’s college students on pornography? The University of Iowa is pushing that question; come the fall semester, the school will be offering a class studying the impact of porno on mainstream culture. Iowa House Speaker Chris Rants is no fan of the idea, speaking out against the use of public funds for such a higher learning experience. So far, the twenty student slots for the class have been filled, and there’s a waiting list. Grad student Jay Clarkson will be teaching the session, but don’t sign up looking for an easy A in T & A. Clarkson emphasized that no explicit material of any kind will be shown.
