Tyler Faith Banned From High School Prom

Tyler Faith was prepared to make one Connecticut teenage boy a very happy man last Saturday, but his school told the Weston High School senior that he couldn’t bring a porn star to his prom as he had planned.

On June 4, the day before Max Miesel’s senior prom, Miesel and his grandmother appeared on the Howard Stern radio in an attempt to win a date to the prom with Faith. Supposedly the grandmother had promised to do anything in order to get her grandson a date to the prom with a porn star, but it was later revealed that the high school student had sent the letter in himself, and the grandmother had agreed to go along with it.

“Anything” ended up requiring the grandmother to answer questions of a personal nature on the show, then playing "Beat the Juice,” a game where Lester "Beetlejuice" Green, who has a notoriously bad memory and difficulty pronouncing even common place words, must be taught a simple phrase that he must repeat.

“I felt bad for the grandmother because you could tell she was very uncomfortable answering the questions,” Faith told AVN.com. “I don’t think she knew what she had gotten herself into.”

Miesel’s grandmother was unable to get Beetlejuice to repeat the phrase “I came, I saw, I conquered,” but Stern declared the student a winner anyway.

Which was just fine with Faith, who describes the 18-year-old Miesel as “cute.”

“I was nervous going there because I was thinking I would be walking into a Jerry Springer special,” Faith said. “It was the total opposite, they were a nice family from Connecticut.”

Faith was looking forward to the event; she even had a prom dress of sorts. “I wouldn’t actually call it a prom dress. I had a very classy piece, a beaded black evening gown.”

The plan was that around 6p.m. the next evening a car service would pick both Faith and Miesel up, then onto the prom. What happened after that would be up to two consenting adults.

“The show never said you have to do this or that,” Faith said. “They say if you want to hang out with the guy after the prom, its up to you. They even told me I didn’t even have to go if I didn’t want to.”

“But c’mon it’s a prom night. I may be witch, but think of what it would mean to him.”

Yet as often happens with the best-laid plans of teenagers, high school officials and parents interfered.

“Max called me around lunch on Friday. He had gotten into a lot of trouble because the Sheraton [Hotel, the location for the prom] called the school, just checking to see if everyone was on the same page about me attending,” Faith said. “The school decided it was against school policy to take a porn star to prom and warned that there would be severe consequences for Max if he did.”

Thus the prom was out. Faith then invited Miesel over to her hotel, but his parents, evidently not as cool as his grandmother, had already ruled that out. In fact, his mother called Faith and asked her not to communicate with Miesel anymore.

“She called me at the hotel and said, ‘Please don’t accept my son’s phone calls. I don’t want him to talk to you.’ I think they were overreacting, it’s not like a pre-arranged marriage or anything.”

On Monday, Stern told Miesel that it was probably for the best, noting he probably couldn’t handle the porn star anyway.

"I wouldn’t expect him to. I would handle him,” Faith said. “That would be alright for once.”

Miesel ended going stag to the prom, and never hooked up with Faith at her hotel.

And yet while Faith and Miesel didn’t get to share a prom night together, Faith has plenty of prom experiences of her own – she attended three of them during her high school years – all with the same long-term boyfriend.
