Evil Angel going cerebral? In what constitutes a rather odd twist, Evil Angel, instead of having the standard-issue porn stars at their booth at the East Coast Show next week, will feature Tristan Taormino. Taormino is both the author of The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women and co-director of the video feature of the same title which garnered a 5-A rating in the September issue of AVN.
Jeff Marton said Evil Angel is going to the show with business in mind. "A lot of times when we put up two or three girls we get such a crowd in front of the booth that people don't come see us, they call later. We want to see our customers face to face. We're not going to have a huge presence. Last year when were at GVA's booth and John [Stagliano] thought that was limiting us because of all the other distributors at the booth.
"We're going to do business as OPPOSED to CES this year where we'e going to have a 20 by 40 booth and may just wear costumes." Marton says Stagliano was tinkering with the idea of going "medieval". "But I think we may let that go. Can you imagine putting Vicca in a suit of armor?"
Besides the Taormino feature, Marton also said he'd like to do a big ECVS push for Rocco's Fun Club. "It's great special effects in it," Marton said. "The type you usually don't see in a porn movie - Deena Jewel's tongue grows two feet long."
