TripleXCash Paying Out After Website Billing Collapse

TripleXCash has begun paying out affiliate Webmasters owed large enough amounts of money when WebsiteBilling.com collapsed in late May, the company has announced. And they're running a kind of "thank-you contest" for the Webmasters who stuck it out with TripleXCash.

"Website Billing left us with a really bad taste in our mouths," said marketing and sales director Kevin (KB) Blatt. "The hardest part of the entire matter was watching our affiliates leave us in droves, as Website Billing told us they'd have our money to us soon then they closed it's doors, owing us close to the mid six figures."

TripleXCash president Paolo Cammarata said they're glad to be paying Webmasters back but still plan legal recovery of monies owed by Webmaster Billing. "Most companies often just go belly up after what happened to us," he said, crediting foresight inside the company and "tuck(ing) some money away in the event of a rainy day."

He didn't say, however, just how much TripleX was owed by Website Billing.

WebsiteBilling.com ceased May 23, saying pressure from Visa and MasterCard administrative requirements forced the company's shutdown. Managing director Evan Daly said at the time that their acquiring bank was closing "aggregators and IPSPs" due to the two credit companies' pressure. "By losing this merchant relationship, we have no practical way to maintain our current client database," Daly said, adding "arbitrary fines" by card associations, foreign banks, and delayed deposits – not to mention what he called "general harassment" against reputedly high-risk business, provoked those pressures.

That followed Paycom's multi-million dollar antitrust and fraud lawsuit against MasterCard earlier in May. Paycom accused that credit giant of setting up "monopolistic" rules giving it "unreasonable discretion" to dominate Internet merchants and impose "illegal" fines and penalties in the millions against so-called high-risk businesses.

TripleXCash, in fact, is on board with Paycom as well as CCBill. And as a way of thanking Webmasters for being patient with the company, TripleX is offering a "thank you contest" for best gallery design for the company's new interracial Website, Black Bros, White Hoes, and submit. The ten best submissions will win a free listing for their galleries on The Hun.

And of those ten winning listings, the one gallery generating the most signups gets a $1,000 bonus, with a tie meaning $1,000 each to the two co-winners.

"The submitted galleries will be judged without prejudice by the entire staff at Triple X Cash," Blatt said. "Remember, it's not just the best designers that have a chance at this!"
