TrafficDude Becomes ASACP Agency Sponsor

Interactive adult media agency Traffic Dude has agreed to become an agency sponsor of Adult Sites Against Child Pornography, managing multiple online ad campaigns for the child porn fighting site and group.

"As an ad agency supporting the adult side of the business, our ad network reaches thousands of Website operators and Webmasters," said Traffic Dude president Scott Rabinowitz. "We are pleased to provide these promotional resources for ASACP that can allow the group to fulfill its mission."

ASACP executive director Joan Irvine was thrilled to have Traffic Dude come aboard. "We are pleased with this unexpected opportunity to gain access to premium business-to-business-focused online advertising," Irvine said. "Our organization seeks to expand its reach throughout the next year, and the services provided by Traffic Dude are a well-timed addition to our limited resources."

ASACP said Traffic Dude will manage campaigns aimed at expanding the ASACP mission and broaden awareness of the child porn fight within the online business world, as well as offering "a time-sensitive means by which ASACP can introduce new projects and services to the community at large."

In other news on the continuing battle against child porn:

CHICAGO – A parent spotting a tiny video camera in an instructional center's bathroom has led to the child porn arrest of a 62-year-old Chicago tutor. James Bradshaw's computer also turned up 50 images when investigators examined the machine, but now they want to know just how much more deeply than that the tutor was involved in child porn.

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY. – From suspended to canned. That's where Elizabethtown police officer Brian Leasor stands following his busts last week for exposing himself on a school bus one day and child porn on his computer the next day. Leasor is free on 10 percent of a $20,000 cash bond.

DUBLIN – Ireland's government is now said to have correspondence from Judge Brian Curtin's legal team in connection with an ongoing effort to impeach the judge, who was acquitted of child porn charges based on the search warrant for his home being out of date. What was in the correspondence isn't known yet, but Curtin had until May 31 to respond to a move to set up a committee investigating his conduct.

PALM DESERT, CALIF. – Sheriff's deputies here found "thousands and thousands" of child porn photos and videos in the home of Steven Vonstein, who was arrested May 28 on a search warrant at his home and business. Vonstein is also in huge trouble over the firearm he owns: he was already a convicted felon who was barred from owning one as a result. But investigators seem concerned mainly with determining just how many victims were involved in the child porn found in Vonstein's home.
