'Toys Kill' Opening Adds Burlesque Acts

LOS ANGELES - Burlesque performers Victoria Vengeance and Diamondback Annie will entertain the crowd at the opening night reception for “Toys Kill,” scheduled to take place Oct. 6 from 7 - 10 p.m. at Meltdown Comics. Sponsored by AVN, the multimedia exhibit showcases the work of photographer Justice Howard and artist/toymaker Jim Koch.

Victoria Vengeance (myspace.com/xxxvengeancexxx) is an L.A.-based performer who's taken her act to the stages of famous Hollywood venues including The Hollywood Derby, The Broadway Bar, The Gig and The Key Club. And Diamondback Annie (myspace.com/diamondbackannie) touts her stylings as "classic Chevy muscle cars meets pulp pin-up."

In addition to AVN, guitar case manufacturer Coffin Case has joined as a sponsor of the event. A portion of Justice Howard's sales proceeds will benefit The Children of the Night Foundation.

"Toys Kill" is scheduled to run throughout October at Meltdown Comics (7522 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90046). Admission to the Oct. 6 reception is free. To RSVP, e-mail [email protected], and for more information, go to www.toyskill.com .
