Toss Off a Batch Offers Surfers Free Movies

A newly launched free site, TossOffABatch.com, is offering surfers free Adult films with the caveat that they are preceded by a 15-second advertisement.

The site’s owners have purchased more than 140 five-minute clips and are using spots at the beginning of each to push a sponsor program or selling the space outright. Surfers are unable to fast-forward through the ads.

“This is not a new concept, we’ve simply improved the business plan and increased the quality to make it more successful,” co-owner Rob Nelson told AVNOnline.com. “We’ve basically built a site that’s free of all the things people hate about Adult sites. We’ve made it easy and fun – just click and watch. It’s what we think an Adult site should be and everyone who views the site tends to agree.”

While the site has the surfer in mind – no popups, charges or forms – it’s also clear that the advertiser has the preference. Currently, the film clips are only generically grouped into straight, lesbian and dom action, followed by sub-groups such as anal or blowjob. However, there are no screen caps or descriptions of the clips, which may be slightly frustrating for the surfer.

“The reason we did that is I want people to click the movies,” Nelson said.

And hence, they’ll see the advertisement.

TossOffABatch.com is still a work in progress, though. Nelson said he is considering adding short descriptions of each clip to stave off surfer weariness and also plans on switching clips in and out liberally.

“I have to pay for those being stored, so if no one’s looking at them, I don’t want them in there,” he said.

As with most new Internet ventures, getting traffic and the partnerships that help you do that is the name of the game. Whether TossOffABatch.com will be working with a content provider, affiliates and/or other sources remains to be seen.

The current goal is just to get established.

“How do you get into the market when there are so many sites out there? Well, you have to give stuff away and make it decent content,” Nelson said. “Once you get them coming, hopefully you can push them to the affiliates.”
