Adult content provider and Webmaster affiliate sponsor TopBucks.com has added video-on-demand and live Webcam services to its selection of sites, BestMovies.com and AdultCams.com.
These sites further diversify the TopBucks portfolio of products for Webmasters to promote and were created to take advantage of what they believe are two online trends: the increasing availability of broadband connectivity, and the ever-growing desire on the part of surfers for greater interactivity in their online experience.
"I've always felt that pay-per-view was the wave of the future for delivery of adult video content online, and with increase in the number of broadband users, combined with growing wariness towards the traditional subscription billing model on the part of adult surfers, we felt that the time was right to jump into the PPV video market," TopBucks director of public relations Quentin Boyer told AVNOnline.com. "TopBucks has always sought to be on the cutting edge, to give our Webmasters as many revenue-generating options as possible. Also, we look at the competition, examine what they do well, look for ways in which they could improve, incorporate those ideas/improvements, and then spin out our own twist on the concepts/products that we believe to be the most compelling."
The token-based pay-per-view system of BestMovies.com offers viewers access rates as low as nine cents per minute, with over 1,500 titles already available, with dozens of new titles added weekly.
"So far, during our initial testing, the conversion ratios for BestMovies have been incredible," said TopBucks vice president of operations Allison Vivas. "It?s going to be a great seller on exit traffic, and as a members area upsell on pay sites."
"On BestMovies, we are offering our full selection of reality site video content, content which is not available on any other PPV site," added Boyer.
Meanwhile, AdultCams offers a large stable of performers, with multiple girls available 24/7. Surfers can get a free chat teaser by clicking through to any of the models listed on the site?s front page. Users will need to join the site to receive a private show, view photo galleries, or take advantage of the enormous collection of other content on AdultCams, but the initial live chat is free of charge.
"AdultCams is our first major incursion into a more interactive content offering," said Boyer. "It's something that we've had in the works for some time, and is part of a general effort to diversify the products that we make available for Webmasters to promote.
"The primary difference from the competition is that we are paying Webmasters per signup and the payouts themselves are much more aggressive than cams/PPV sites offer. Most PPV sites pay a percentage commission on each sale."
TopBucks is paying Webmasters $40 per trial signup for AdultCams, and $25 per non-recurring signup for BestMovies.
"BestMovies and AdultCams are part of a larger effort by TopBucks to diversify our offerings, and expand beyond subscription-based adult sites," stated Boyer. "Paying out on a per signup basis for a video-on-demand service is also a new twist; so far as I am aware, all of the other video-on-demand sites pay out a percentage of each individual purchase.
"Over the history of TopBucks, we?ve found that most Webmasters prefer to make their money up front, so they don?t have to worry about continuing sales or retention - that preference was the driving force behind our decision to pay per signup on both BestMovies and AdultCams."
