CHATSWORTH, Calif.—With his second AVN Award for Best Actor now under his belt, Tommy Pistol displays his thespian chops in a sort-of-safe-for-work short just released as part of the seventh annual Women in Horror Month Massive Blood Drive campaign.
The campaign, spearheaded by Twisted Twins Productions, presents a collection of independently produced PSAs from on-the-rise directors urging people to donate blood. It is run in conjunction with Women in Horror Month, a grassroots initiative that throughout February showcases the contributions of women to the horror genre.
Pistol appears in the short "Blood for America," directed by Nicole McClure and found at roughly the 20-minute mark of the complete PSA anthology, which can viewed on the Women in Horror Month website or on YouTube.
In regard to his Best Actor win at this year's AVN Awards for the Digital Playground comedy Stryker, Pistol, who was unfortunately unable to attend the ceremony (friend and fellow performer Small Hands gave a touching acceptance speech on his behalf), told AVN, "I'm extremely proud to win Best Actor at the 2016 AVN Awards. For me it's a huge award to win and truly means the world to me, as many know."
He continued, "I will be forever grateful to the studios that graciously give me work every year. Huge thank you to Digital Playground and [director] Billy Visual. Working with Billy Visual was a great experience and we really connected on Stryker. Looking forward to working with such a talented director again soon. And thanks to the whole cast and crew that truly made it a memorable experience. Everyone brought their A game to this show and it showed. Thank you AVN again for seeing the talents I possess and acknowleging them one more time. I'm forever gracious."
