LANDSDALE, Pa. - Director Tommy Kaye has released The Collectors, the debut title from his newly launched production company.
“The Collectors bridges the gap between the production values of feature movies with the hardcore sex of gonzo,” said Kaye said. “Storylines, great sex and high production values…it's a mix that more and more consumers are demanding. We test marketed The Collectors by allowing randomly selected gonzo fans the opportunity to screen and review the DVD before its release. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive from both the fans and video reviewers.”
The Collectors stars Lisa Rose, Linda Slim, Evelyne Foxy, Sandra Parker, Vanessa Moore and Kyra Banks.
Kaye has been in the adult industry for over twelve years, directing adult lines for companies such as Legend Video, Puritan International, Nitro, Arrow, Odyssey Group and Casso Rosso Amsterdam.
“I chat almost daily with the fans through various online adult fan forums,” said Kaye. “I hear over and over that the consumers wish to see quality and creativity as well as nasty, hardcore sex. All of our upcoming titles will be produced with that high standard in mind.”
Tommy Kaye Productions recently added John Florian as national sales manager. Florian is an industry veteran with 10-plus years in adult sales, and also represents Third World Media.
“We intentionally gave the The Collectors packaging a retro '80s look and feel,” continued Kaye. “Some of my favorite movies were produced in that era. Also, when I walk into a video store all the packaging looks the same. We are attempting to be different and stand out from the sea of sameness.”
Upcoming titles such as Country Fresh will include a car air freshener and Derriere Digest which will integrate an eight page mini-magazine featuring a centerfold.
“The DVD packaging is part of the overall buying experience that's lost with video on demand or broadcast delivery,” Kaye said. “We want the experience that consumers have with Tommy Kaye Productions to not only be enticing from what they see on the DVD, but from the moment they pick it up.”
