Third World Media Moves Distribution In-House

Third World Media, the production studio behind Naughty Little Asians, She-Male Samba Mania, and Pretty Little Latinas, has announced it will do its own domestic distribution beginning July 20, following a successful six–year deal with Avalon.

The move comes as the result of continuous growth, the expanding popularity of Third World’s titles, according to Frank Goldfisher, Third World’s general manager and head of sales.

"Support for our specialty genres has been tremendous and it’s really starting to show," Goldfisher said. "The consumer loves the authenticity of our titles and they look specifically for our niche-driven content. Our films are the purest form of reality ethnic content out there and now we’re ready to give our customers even more."

With their growing catalog nearing 190 titles, bringing distribution in-house was a natural progression.

"We appreciate what Avalon had done for us and now it’s time to expand," Goldfisher said. "We're currently shipping one title a week and we’re planning to increase distribution to four titles a week. The foundation for continued success is in place — now’s our chance to raise the bar and take Third World to the next level."

Third World recently increased their sales staff to support the transition and added 10,000 square feet of warehouse space, following a move last month. They’re poised to offer retailers the continued service and support as in the past with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. In the meantime, they’re continuing to produce the original ethnic and tranny smut fans have received so well.

"We’re committed to producing the most authentic, highest-quality ethnic and specialty films available anywhere," Goldfisher said. "By bringing distribution in-house, we’ve taken the necessary steps to make this happen."
