Third Degree Films is releasing Crack Addict, the third title from director Chris Streams, to retailers across the country today.
Third Degree sales manager Tony Santoro told AVN.com he has received "well over 5,000" pre-orders for the title, which stars German anal sensation Katja Kassin and was featured on the cover of AVN this month. He said that being on the cover of AVN "doesn't hurt, let's put it that way."
"But our numbers have been strong from Day 1, just because of (Joey Wilson's) reputation and my reputation," Santoro said Monday afternoon. "And loyalty, just from what Joey did at Rosebud, it was already there. Having the cover of AVN definitely helps at the retail level when the stores managers see it."
Santoro continued, "I think people are seeing the quality of our content and packaging. Chris Streams has been incredible and consumers know what type of quality work he does."
Santoro said that Third Degree's first two titles, Share the Load and Don't Tell My Daddy, have also been well received on the distributor and retail levels.
Third Degree's next title will be Ass Cream starring Lanny Barbie.
