The Third Annual Best Adult Awards ceremony will take place during the Qwebec Expo on Aug. 26 at 9 p.m.
Organizers added a 16th category this year, Best Solo Girl Website, up one from 2005’s 15 categories. The awards honor the best adult websites, webmasters, and performers; Admission is free for Expo attendees.
Judging started this week for the sites and will continue until Aug. 15.
“I got the idea to start the awards show from the AVN Awards,” says Michael Plante, organizer for the awards show. Plante said he’d planned on alternating the site of the show between Qwebec City and Montreal, but decided on Montreal as a permanent home, given the number of attendees from the West Coast.
Nominees for the awards were announced July 18.

The show will be hosted by YNOT Bob and feature musical performances from by “alternative porn rock” band Wank Punter WankPunter.com.
