Adult performer and no-holds-barred fighter Dick Delaware will defend his Hitman Fighting Productions heavyweight title against Wade Shipp at 7 p.m. today at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana.
Delaware (22-8, 22 knockouts), known in mixed martial arts as "The Pornographic Puncher," is stepping into the cage for the second time in less than a month. Andy Montana pulled off a stunning upset of Delaware, whose real name is Aaron Brink, in the main event at Rage in the Cage 47 on April 12 in Phoenix.
Shipp (4-1), who has a heavyweight title from Japan, is a 6-foot-3, 240-pound jiu-jitsu specialist from San Diego. Delaware is 6-3, 230 and likes to stand and trade punches. He told AVN.com he plans to go for a knockout.
"I'm pumped," Delaware said Thursday night.
The Huntington Beach fighter expects to have the crowd in his favor because he trains in Orange County and fought at the Galaxy Theatre earlier in his career.
