Adult video director Skye Blue is shifting gears for her next production; it won’t be her first all-girl project, and it certainly won’t be her first lewd project, but it might be her first project where nudity wasn’t involved.
Blue’s new project is The Naughty Show, a stand-up comedy revue billed as a “night of raunchy chick comedy,” that will take place tonight, Thursday, December 16 at the Ivar Theater.
“I have some friends who are comediennes. In comedy, talking freely about sex is generally an area left to guys. There isn’t really a platform for women to really let loose and be themselves, where they can talk about sex and about their pussies,” Blue told AVN.com. “So I thought, ‘Why not create that platform?’”
Thus the creation of Trashmouth Productions, a new company formed by Blue and two of her comedienne friends, Lisa Ann Walter and Kate Rigg, both comediennes with a long list of mainstream film and television credits including roles in Bruce Almighty and Shall We Dance? for Walter, and reoccurring roles on “Law and Order” and the “Family Guy” for Rigg.
Robin Montague, Shayma Tash, Stella Stopler, and Kim Cea flesh out the rest of comediennes performing that evening. And if the laughs aren’t enough reason to shell out the $12 door fee, there will also be the Naughty Boys Go-Go Team.
Blue intends to create a DVD of the show for mainstream distribution. Not that she plans on leaving adult anytime soon, she recently launched her own Gothic Media, where she produces a line of rubber and fetish video, and she still directs for frequently for Bizarre Video and Sex Z Pictures/Sex Z Gonzo
