The Erotic Art and Videos of Irvin Bomb Featured on Insomniac

Irvin Bomb, an erotica artist who melds his erotica art with adult video in his Nasty Art series, painted a nude portrait of multiple AVN Award-winner Ava Vincent that was documented by Dave Attell’s Insomniac for an episode that will air later this week.

“I was just I was sitting in a bar that Dave Attell walked into. It was just a chance encounter. We started talking and he asked about what I did – I told him and he decided that it would make a segment for the show,” Bomb told AVN.com. “They told me they wanted a blonde. I could have easily cast a local girl but I wanted to give the opportunity to Ava as a way of saying thanks for working with me in the past.”

Vincent appeared in last year’s Nasty Art: Canvas Of Lust, which received an AVN Award nomination for Best Art Direction for the 2003 AVN Awards. She also wrote the introduction for Bomb’s first book The Art of Irvin Bomb

Clips of Vincent laughing while posing for the nude portrait have been run on Comedy Central since last week to promote the episode, which will first air this Thursday, August 7, at 10 p.m. and again on Friday at noon.

The timing couldn’t be better for Bomb, who has a third softcore installment of Nasty Art going out on pay-per-view networks including both In-Demand PPV and TVN-Action PPV that will run for the entire month of September.

Nasty Art is a series that shows women coming to Bomb’s studio and posing for him. While they are modeling, they start talking about their sex lives and fantasies before either starting a solo scene or engaging in a full-blown hardcore girl/girl sex scene. The video includes sped of video footage of the painting that Bomb is doing as it develops.

“It’s like Bob Ross [the late great PBS painting teacher] – except instead of trees and landscapes you have naked lesbians. Hopefully I’m considered a better painter than he was,” Bomb joked.

Nasty Art: Fleshtones, the third installment of the series, features New York City locals Vanessa, Sasha, Anastasia. Sean McBride and Justine Case in full-blown girl/girl scenes that take place as Bomb paints a photo-realistic portrait of the women.

The total length of the video, which has three scenes, is 57 minutes long. Currently Bomb is in talks with distributors for nation wide retail release of the Nasty Art series, possibly extending each title to include six scenes.

For the moment though, the only place consumer’s can get a hold of the hardcore version of the Nasty Art series – and the erotic art that Bomb, whose work has appeared in Black Book, Penthouse, High Society and other magazines, created during the making of the videos, at NastyArt.com.

Only Nasty Art: Canvas of Lust has actual porn stars in the video. Besides Ava Vincent, Dee and Obsession also appear in the video. Bomb would like to use more porn stars in the future, citing a desire to paint Vivid Girl Sunrise Adams, Wicked Girl Kaylani Lei, Jewel De’ Nyle and possibly long-time friend Candida Royalle, “if I can talk her into it,” he said.
