The Danny Federici Memorial Fundraiser Set for Sunday

LOS ANGELES - Comedian Robert Schimmel will host The Danny Federici Memorial Fundraiser at 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 19 at the Troubador in West Hollywood, Calif.

Federici, a close friend of the adult industry, died a year ago after a bout with Melanoma. He was most known as the longtime organ, glockenspiel and accordion player for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band.

The evening's benefit will include live performances by Tom Morello, Joe Prudy, Jason Heath & The Greedy Souls, Chris Seefried, Chris  Joyner, Alexa George and other special guests.

Presale tickets are $15 through Ticketmaster and the Troubador box office, or $20 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Danny Fund, a worldwide initiative to raise awareness and find a cure for Melanoma.

"He was probably my closest and best friend," said industry veteran Howard Levine, who is the national sales manager for Cezar Capone. "He enjoyed Vivid movies immensely. He was nice enough to invite everybody to several [Springsteen] concerts. It was a major loss for me and a lot of other people. ... This is well worth the price of admission because all the proceeds will go to the Danny Fund which Bruce Springsteen did a commercial for during the Super Bowl."

The Troubador (323.600.5864) is located at 9081 Santa Monica Blvd., 90069.
