The Boob Tube: Austrian TV Offers Breast Enlargement

An Austrian tabloid TV show is offering breast enlargement as a prize. A Philadelphia man is accused of running an online underage sex escort service. And a Florida judge tells four it's not nice to smuggle Viagra to Russia. The Newsex Roundup is on the air...

VIENNA - Talk about the boob tube: Check It, a tabloid television program, is offering a breast enlargement in a move to boost the audience for the show. Viewers who want the prize must send a photograph to the show, along with a few lines as to why they want to inflate their bust, according to Reuters. "There'll be only one winner, but of course two silicone implants," ATV television editor-in-chief Thomas Gauss said. The winner of the $5,000 prize will be chosen by Check It viewers.

PHILADELPHIA - Police in King of Prussia have charged a Philadelphia man with running an underage Internet sex service. Francis Brazell is charged with prostitution, criminal conspiracy, and corruption of minors in the case. A probe into regional escort services led to Robin's Nest Escort Service, which advertised both male and female escorts on a Website, claiming all escorts were of legal age - but an undercover operation which set up a hotel meeting turned up two girls from the service who told two state troopers they were 17 years old, after agreeing to oral sex for $500. They also told the troopers they worked for Brazell, who received part of their earnings. He was arrested when he came to the hotel to pick the girls up. He could see seven years behind bars if found guilty. The girls will be tried for prostitution. The Website has been pulled offline.

MIAMI - Four businessmen get the maximum sentence for trying to smuggle about 70,000 doses Viagra to Russia. They were nailed in the first place in a sting run by an undercover investigator posing as a Russian gangster. All four got six months in prison and two years probation, with two planning to file for release on bond while they appeal the convictions - with the other two possibly joining before their June 19 reporting date to prison. According to the Associated Press, the attorney for one defendant was so surprised at the sentence he asked the judge to repeat it and reconsider it. Victor Penafiel, a wholesaler, suggested hiding the Viagra with vitamin labels when shipping it out of the country. Arthur Goodman helped organize the group. Lachman Raichandani shipped the goods, and Matthew Scott brokered the deal, according to authorities.
