HOLLYWOOD — Tera Patrick and husband Evan Seinfeld will host a 'High Times' magazine party Tuesday night at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip.
Tera appears on the cover of the latest 'High Times' as the magazine's official Ganja Goddess of 2008.
"I have never been one for political correctness," Patrick said. "I look at High Times magazine as an expression of my American freedom to endorse whatever I want. The editor, Bobby Black, is a person I greatly respect and I am honored to have been named the 2008 Ganja Goddess. My husband Evan shot the cover and the centerfold. I am proud of how it turned out."
LA Direct Models is co-sponsoring the party, and as a way of promoting Patrick's lingerie line Mistress Couture, girls who attend in lingerie will be treated to free entry and drinks.
"I hate that adult industry parties are always so shitty," Seinfeld told AVN. "This is a very layered event, because there's going to [be] like a harem room, where all the girls in lingerie can drink free, and we'll have girls showing up on the red carpet in lingerie. And really, the big deal at the event is the launch of our radio show on Playboy Radio, 'Rock Star/Porn Star.' We've done this event in New York, in Miami, in Chicago, in London, and it's just a celebration of music and sex and people just having a good time."
Seinfeld's band The Spyderz will perform at the event along with Commonwealth, Duress, Crash Aura and Archer. "We want to encourage all the porn stars from the Valley to take over the Sunset Strip on Tuesday night," he said.
Then on Wednesday night, June 18, Patrick will host another party at Opera and Crimson Nightclubs, this one to toast the launch of a new premium t-shirt line she's introducing in partnership with PJE Los Angeles.
