HOLLYWOOD - Towering spotlights danced across the sky Friday night from in front of the Hustler Hollywood boutique on Sunset Blvd., hailing the presence of adult megastar Tera Patrick, who appeared there for an over two-hour-long signing session in promotion of the new Teravision/Hustler Video co-production InTERActive.
Met by an overflowing throng of fans, the inimitable Ms. Patrick autographed copies of her nearly-sold-out 2007 calendar, the InTERActive DVD and other paraphernalia, and took scores of pictures with her adoring admirers — both from the public sector and the in-store staff — before being whisked away at around 10:30 p.m. by husband and Teravision CEO Evan Seinfeld.
Seinfeld — a celebrity in his own right for his history with the band Biohazard, his recurring role on the HBO show "Oz" and his membership in rock group Damnocracy, which came together for the VH1 reality miniseries "Supergroup" — was himself asked by many fans for snapshots and autographs as he oversaw the event.
Of course, garnering plenty of attention as well was Hustler founder Larry Flynt, who made a special appearance to cheer InTERActive's release and stir up a little extra buzz around the happening.
Patrick and Seinfeld remained at the store for nearly a half hour past the scheduled time, which they gladly endured to accommodate the huge demand for meet-and-greets, despite an early Saturday morning call time to shoot the catalog for Mistress Couture, Patrick's nascent clothing line, featuring herself and fellow starlets Stormy Daniels, Puma Swede, Angela Taylor and Felicia Tang.
InTERActive is available now, and can be ordered from hustlerworld.com or clubtera.com.
