Adult film star Tera Patrick has launched the Tera Patrick Agency, a talent management and casting firm that will focus on the actresses and actors it represents.
The firm is headed by Patrick, the raven-haired Asian-American actress-model, and her husband, actor-rock star Evan Seinfeld who have a combined total of more than 20 years of experience in the mainstream and adult entertainment industries.
The agency and its first nine actress-clients are co-hosting a party ("The Best Damn Porn Party Period") with Sex Z Pictures and Mallcom on Friday night at the Avalon nightclub (1735 Vine St) in Hollywood. They will also be appearing at the Teravision/Tera Patrick Agency booth (#549), which is hosted by Glamor Girl magazine at Erotica LA this weekend.
The Tera Patrick Agency is the latest entrepreneurial venture of Patrick and Seinfeld. They already operate Teravision, a production company that co-produces her films under a pact with Vivid Entertainment Group. She is now the only active major adult star to run a talent agency.
The firm has been styled as “a first class boutique agency representing the highest-end adult talent with a commitment to excellent and attention to detail.” They have also enlisted the services of managerial masterminds from Hustler, William Morris Agency and The Firm. They will be booking both men and women both for adult and mainstream work in movies, TV, the web, live appearances and modeling assignments. They are fully licensed, bonded and insured with in-house legal representation.
“I want our talent to benefit from what I’ve learned and help them formulate long-term career plans and to insure their safety,” Patrick said. “My goal is to help girls (and guys) in the business to be treated with respect, and realize their true potential, whether that be financial or in becoming stars.”
