CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Director-performer Tee Reel has joined Ideal Image Management as a partner and talent manager. A 10-year veteran in the adult industry, Reel is a former contract performer for Red Light District and has worked with many major production companies in the industry.
Reel joins Corey Carnes at the helm of Ideal Image after the departure of Mike Hellerstein. Carnes will continue to lead the in-house administrative operations, while Reel will focus on talent recruitment and business development.
“I'm talent and I’m a director, so I understand both sides of the coin,” Reel said. “I truly believe that I can improve the quality and awareness of our talent, along with meeting the demands of companies that need to produce content that sells. I have provided career advice and guidance for three AVN Performers of the Year and two Best New Starlet nominees. I’m just formalizing what I have done informally for quite some time.
“I really like what Corey has been able to do to with the company. I’ve been working as a consultant for the company for the last six weeks. He understands how to run a successful business and is willing to take the necessary steps to move in the best interest of the talent,” Reel continued. “To better serve our clients, we revamped the website, hired new staff, photographers and drivers.
