Taryn Thomas: Dirty and Sober

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Porn's dirty girl is back. After a two-year battle with depression and drugs, Taryn Thomas is eager to prove that she can still tear it up with the best of them.

Represented by Lisa Ann's Talent Management, Thomas will be visiting L.A. this month to shoot for Danni.com. She's putting the finishing touches on her new website, TotallyTaryn.com, and plans to launch a network of sites in the near future.

"I am going to continue to push boundaries and be the dirtiest dirty girl I can be," said Thomas. "I am not a non-dirty girl. I love sex and I love being in front of a camera."

Thomas began her adult movie career in 2005. Her bad-bitch swagger and tolerance for self-abuse quickly earned the Phoenix native a large and loyal following. The next year, she won the F.A.M.E. award for Dirtiest Girl in Porn...and blew out her ass in the process.

"In early 2006, I had a injury to my pretty little butthole. Then I started using cocaine," the fiery brunette told AVN. "After three months of being on drugs, I decided that was not the way I wanted to live my life or could. So I went home to Arizona, got sober, and went back to my agent. At the time, I had put on a significant amount of weight, and work for me was starting to slow down. So once again, I decided to pack up my things and move back to Arizona permanently."

Thomas announced a comeback in 2007, but she wasn't quite ready.

"It was difficult for me, because I love performing so much and I knew I wouldn't be performing like I used to," she said. "Over the course of my being 'gone,' I think I shot a total of about five or six times. It was basically, hey you're in the area, will you shoot a scene for me? So I did, because more money in the bank never hurts."

This time, Thomas is determined to do it right. She feels she has the perfect agent in Lisa Ann, and she believes her new website will be a big hit with fans.

"This site is not going to be like my old one at all," she said. "It already has well over 250 photo galleries, tons of BJ scenes, lots of reality content giving fans a look into my ife, and much more. I am really excited about this, because it's totally run by me. It should be up in time for the Phoenix Forum in April."
