Tampa's Most Controversial DJ 'Bubba the Love Sponge' Demonstrates His Opposition of Censorship Laws in Tampa

According to the Entertainment Network, 98Rock's "Bubba the Love Sponge" teamed up with the technical staff at VoyeurDorm.com, and City-Guide ISP, to broadcast LIVE via the Internet from the steps of City Hall during the city council meeting on lap dancing.

Bubba and Team offered free lap dances on the steps of City Hall to 98Rock's radio listeners to illustrate their opposition of the City's attempt to prohibit lap dancing. The event was the first live video stream for BubbaTV and represented the launch of BubbaTV.com.

The crews of VoyeurDorm.com and City-Guide are no strangers to controversy. The City of Tampa is currently trying to close the VoyeurDorm alleging that the house is an adult-use. City-Guide Internet Service Provider hosts the website, thus also veterans of media attention. Together they comprise an impressive staff of experts in the area of Live Internet Broadcasting, so this demonstration was "just another day's work" for this team.

When asked why VoyeurDorm.com supports Bubba's opposition, Attorney for VoyeurDorm.com Mark Dolan who specializes in First Amendment Law stated, "This is just another example of VoyeurDorm's commitment to the protection of free speech and expression for everyone."

Dolan indicated that this decision, like the VoyeurDorm's Federal lawsuit vs. the City of Tampa, currently pending in the Middle District of Florida, is extremely important to the future of the First Amendment.
