LAS VEGAS—The performer formerly known as Jesse Jane now goes by Jesse and has a new home. Now that she is under contract with powerhouse gonzo studio Jules Jordan Video, the new Jesse promises fans she will no longer suppress her rougher, wilder sexual side.
“I’ve been held back,” Jesse told AVN at the recent Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) in Las Vegas. “Trust me. I’m actually way rougher than Digital let me be.”
The announcement that Jesse will be the first contract performer in Jules Jordan Video’s history took many in the industry and the public by surprise. The first title to be released with Jesse will be Alpha Female, a vignette that Jesse describes as more of a “dom thing,” a theme not unfamiliar to Jules Jordan, who in the past has incorporated female domination in several titles. “We are going to shoot it right after AVN and push it out by February,” Jesse said. “Alpha Female is me just being the dominant. Like taking control of the scenes with Samantha Saint and Chad White, and I’m going to finish shooting with Manuel at the end ... living out a fantasy and taking control of people in the scenes.”
Director Jules Jordan himself is undeniably enthused about his new star. “Announcing our deal at AEE was perfect timing. Fans were super surprised and excited—it was very hard to keep this under wraps, but we did it.”
Jordan further revealed, “We will also be managing Jesse's website, JesseXXX.com, where she will do chats, web shows. We will also be showing full movies, and exclusive scenes that we shoot. We hope to channel Jesse’s talents and sexuality into tailor-fitting films, giving all the fans more sex for their dollar.”
The marriage between Jesse and Jules Jordan Video came about during the period in which Jesse was with MindGeek-owned Digital Playground and in a position that she describes as “screwed.” While talking with Jordan as a friend, the idea arose of their brands joining forces. “That’s how it came about,” Jesse said. “And then once my contract finally came up, I was like ’Let’s do this.’”
For Jordan, it’s a dream fulfilled. “One of my goals was to be able to shoot her one day,” he said. “I've always loved her looks and performance, so to me this is a very personal experience.”
With 12 years under her belt, all of it spent under contract for Digital Playground, Jesse is confident her fans will follow her to Jules Jordan Video. “Oh yeah, I think so. Once that AVN article came out, my Twitter feed blew up and everybody was just so happy. It’s just so exciting. I know they’ll follow. They know I haven’t shot for two years. Fans aren’t dumb. They know the movies that are out now are my old scenes and they’re ready. They’re like, ‘I miss you. You need to get back in. You’re the game changer.’”
Fans of Jesse’s acting needn’t worry as she also has mainstream projects planned for 2015, but she does admit that it will be nice to go to set just to have sex. “It’s not a 15-hour day. I go in, take a few pictures, then you have awesome sex and you leave.” For the past two years since Jesse last performed, she’s shot for various overseas editions of men’s magazine. “I’m actually going to start doing more TV and movies,” she said. “I’ve been focusing on mainstream photo shoots. So I’ve been doing a lot of different Maxims, FHMs, Playboys in all these different countries just keeping my name out there because I didn’t want my name to die because I wasn’t shooting for the last two years. Now this year I’m getting a new agent and focusing on trying to be in more movies or TV shows, playing a part or even playing myself.”
For now Jesse is concentrating on this new phase of her adult career, and if and when she finds the right partner, the question of when Jesse will perform anal will no longer need to be asked. “I’ve been working on it privately to get used to it to try to do it because I just want to do something different that stands out this year. Obviously the big step was being with Jules Jordan. But I’ve been in the industry for 12 years; I want to do something that everybody talks about.”
Until that day comes Jesse doesn’t mind being asked if that day is near. “No, and I tell everybody, ‘It keeps you wanting more, guys.’”
