Tabitha Stevens, Mary Carey To Sign At Internext

Adult film star Tabitha Stevens and erstwhile California gubernatorial candidate Mary Carey will sign for fans at Hustler's Internext Expo booth, promoting their new reality series, Can You Be A Porn Star, set to debut January 8 on In Demand pay-per-view.

Stevens will sign January 6 from 12-4 p.m. Carey, who stars in the forthcoming film Run, Mary, Run, inspired by her gubernatorial doings, will sign from 12-3 p.m. January 7. They'll be joined by Can You Be A Porn Star contestants.

Can You Be A Porn Star executive producer J.J. Valentine told AVN.com the eight-part series will feature contestants vying for a $100,000 prize, a portion contributed by the show and a portion by Hustler, and for a one-year contract with VCA Pictures.

"It started with a concept and, basically, you see what goes on with reality shows," Valentine said. "It's all crossing over as far as mainstream and adult, so it was a natural progression."

Stevens will host the daytime version of the show and Carey the nighttime version, Valentine said. The eight-part series will feature those contestants vying for a $100,000 cash prize, a one-year contract with a major adult entertainment production company.

Stevens, Carey, and several show contestants are also set to attend the show's premiere party at Club Seven on the Las Vegas Strip, scheduled for January 6 beginning at 9 p.m., and the party is open to the public.
