NEW YORK - AVN Transsexual Performer Of The Year Allanah Starr hosts her annual 21st birthday bash Friday, July 25 at Lucky Cheng's in downtown Manhattan.
Produced by Dina Delicious, the 'Night of 1,001 Starrs" bash will include TS porn star guests Gia Darling, Buck Angel, Carmen Cruz, Vo D'Balm, Foxxy, Sexxxy Jade, Kimber James, Olivia Love, and Wendy Williams. The evening will also feature 10 transsexual Las Vegas-style dancers, surprise celebrity appearances, a cabaret show, and "all the wild and crazy tranny fun your heart can handle!"
"Turning 21 AGAIN for me every year is a very special occasion," said Starr, who was dubbed "the queen bee of New York nightlife for girls with a little something more" by TimeOut New York. "I usually mark the occasion with some Botox, some silicone, another face lift, and of course my annual birthday bash. A frozen face and a bevy of wild transsexuals running around is the best birthday I could wish for. Forget about the circus, this night will indeed be the greatest show on earth! (Tranny, that is.)"
Once a well-known Miami club kid performing under the name Damian Devine, as mentioned in Christopher Ciccone's new book "Life With My Sister Madonna," Starr was at one time employed by Lucky Cheng's in both Miami and New York. She has since moved on to become one of the world's most famous transsexual adult film stars. She is happy to be celebrating her birthday at the downtown Manhattan drag institution.
"Lucky Cheng's is very representative of kind of parties I put together. It's composed of colorful, eclectic, and wild characters that come together in a wonderfully bizarre show.. I would not dream of having anywhere else this year!"
The party is open to the public.
"You don't just have to be a transsexual or tranny admirer to come join the fun," said Starr. "Believe me, we get all kinds of guests from gays, lesbians, straight couples, hipsters, club kids, freaks, mainstream celebrities, to the just plain curious. You name it we, have had them. It's wonderfully diverse and I would not have it any other way!"
