TEN to Showcase Content Partners at Party Featuring Macy Grey

Adult content aggregator TEN will showcase the studios they work with during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo at an exclusive VIP party for those who carry their adult channels and pay-per-view programming. The party will feature a live performance by platinum recording artist Macy Grey.

“We want to have a great time and show the AEE crowd what TEN brings to the table in terms of programming and the studios that we work with,” TEN’s vice president of programming and promotions, Bryan Postlethwait, told AVN.com.

“We’ve had a great year, and we’d like to showcase our core group of studios and thank the Adult industry for the great year we’ve had together.”

Studios to be showcased include Nectar Entertainment, New Sensations/Digital Sin, Sin City/Mayhem and Zero Tolerance.

TEN will take over the Venetian venue formerly known as the Venus Lounge, dubbing the venue the TEN Spot. According to Postlethwait, the Venetian has decided to change the name of the venue, but hasn’t decided upon the new name yet. Since TEN needed to send out invitations, they decided to refer to the venue as the “TEN Spot.”

The event will be limited to 250 people, mostly executives and decision-makers, such as content division heads and presidents of companies that carry adult programming. There will also be a few Adult personalities, including the TEN girls, as well as some mainstream personalities.

The invitation-only event will take place on January 7, 2005. Doors will open at 9 p.m., and live entertainment in the form of Macy Grey and the 40 Deuce dancers, a burlesque revue, will begin at 10 p.m.

The club will open to the public at 1 a.m.

Available in an estimated 70 million households, TEN offers adult entertainment globally through a variety of technological platforms, including cable, direct broadcast satellite (DBS), video-on-demand, hotels and Internet platforms.

The company is the property of New Frontier Media, one of a handful of publicly traded Adult entertainment companies.
