T.T. Boy Regains Distribution of TTB Productions Catalog

Last week T.T. Boy regained distribution control of almost two hundred titles representing the bulk of his directing career, but he hasn’t had a chance to celebrate yet – he’s been too busy trying to set up the new office space he acquired to accommodate his new workload.

“The contractors were still working on my building. I was at war with those guys. They barely finished it enough so that we could move in,” T.T. Boy told AVN.com. “So since December 1, the day I took back the titles, we’ve been busy trying to get everything up to par, so we haven’t had our celebration yet. But we’ll get to it”

190 titles released under the TTB Productions banner had been distributed by Devil’s Films until December 1, when the contract between the two companies ended.

Combined with the 30 titles that T.T. Boy was already distributing under the Evasive Angles banner, that’s a total of 220 that the multiple AVN Award-winning performer now distributes.

His catalog includes such well-known series such as Black Street Hookers, Hot Latin Pussy, Asian Street Hookers, Eighteen & Interracial, Eighteen & Nasty and other assorted titles that were released by TTB Productions.

Black Street Hookers has been around for seven and a half years. That was the first series I started. That was my little baby, it helped get me where I am,” T.T. Boy told AVN.com.

“And I have a little Tera Patrick compilation that people can’t get enough of. It’s called Total Tera Patrick: The Cum Guzzler. People love it, I’m still selling it like crazy,” he added.

T.T. Boy isn’t planning on rolling the TTB Productions collection into Evasive Angles, his new studio. Evasive Angles has series like Little White Slave Girls, Orgy World, 3 Black Dicks in a Spanish Chick, and the gang bang series 4X4, and has has released 30 titles since it launched in January of this year.

TTB Productions has a number of interracial titles, but also has series that aren’t.

Yet while they will remain separate companies, both studios will have their titles sold by the same sales staff: T.T. Boy, Melissa Russell, and a new employee hired to accommodate the catalog, Ed Smith.

Smith, who was formerly in mainstream sales, wasn’t the only new employee T.T. Boy hired because of the new distribution duties. He also hired another warehouse worker.

“It’s a big responsibility, distributing your own stuff,” T.T. Boy said. “It’s a lot easier the other way.”

But T.T. Boy plans on meeting that responsibility head on and standing out in an ever-crowded marketplace by maintaining the sense of professionalism that has been a hallmark of his career as both a performer and a director, an approach he feels will help his distribution company succeed.

“I’m going to run things I always have - strong, fair, and sharp,” T.T. Boy said. “I’m a detail-orientated person. I like things to be perfect and to be run perfectly. I don’t like bullshit and I don’t play games – anyone gives bad service and they’ll be fired.

“And we have the best product in the world,” T.T. Boy said, noting another factor he feels will lead to his success.

In other news, TT Boy has just redesigned the logo for his Evasive Angles studio and name that he will distribute under. The new logo is red and black, making it more visible so consumers can find it better when they’re walking down the aisles.
