Suze Randall to Unveil <i> Double Classics <i>

Photographer/filmmaker Suze Randall has announced plans to release two of her most famous 1980’s hits, Miss Passion, which stars Ginger Lynn, and Love Bites, which stars Amber Lynn, through Pure Play Media on Monday.

Miss Passion, a campy, “New Wave” satire, is set in the remote future where a bevy of young beauties compete to be hailed as the sexiest woman in the universe. To win the title they have to prove their prowess on stage and in front of a video audience of billions.

The MC is none other than a punked-out Suze Randall herself. She introduces the outlandishly attired judges who include a Minister of Pornography and a spokesperson for Women Against Frigidity, who is played by Lisa de Leeuw.

The first contestant is curvaceous brunette Crystal Breeze. Next up is the lovely Rachel Ashley who gets a fiery screw from Craig Roberts. And then it’s Ginger Lynn’s turn to get into a fierce coupling with two studs.

This big-budget feature from 1984 was shot with three cameras, one mounted on a crane.

Love Bites never enjoyed wide distribution because shortly after its release in 1985 it was discovered that one of its stars, Traci Lords, was underage. The title was immediately pulled from distribution. The premise of the movie is that a mosquito, whose bite causes acute sexual arousal, escapes from captivity and induces an epidemic of abandoned sexual behavior.

Perhaps the most memorable scene stars Amber Lynn who gets bitten by the mosquito in an elevator and then runs rampant with her male fellow passengers, which include Peter North. Another scene, which takes a swipe at the Moral Majority that was so influential at the time, shows what happens when the mosquito bites the leading bigot (played by Michael Morrison) who immediately fancies himself as the emperor Nero and sparks off an orgy of his sexually repressed followers.

The movies have a combined running time of 120 minutes.
