PORN VALLEY — Fans of exquisitely-shot hardcore have been missing Suze Randall in their video stores for the past several months, ever since her distribution deal with Pure Play ended. Sure, she's been shooting for VOD, but there was apparently no one willing to turn that hotness into discs.
Until now.
"Amber, who works for Suze Randall, was here one day," recalled Howard Levine, President of Sales for Cezar Capone/Amateur District, "and we kind of met passing in the hallway, and I talked to her about Suze, who I've known for 15 or 20 years. Suze ended her deal at Pure Play a while ago, and Suze actually stopped making any DVDs at all. But she's still posting scenes to their website, and Suze shoots like every day — and to me, Suze Randall is without a doubt one of the premier photographers in this business; she's an icon for sure in the adult industry, and I have nothing but much admiration and respect for her and her work."
"So when Amber told me they weren't making DVDs anymore, my first inclination was to see if I could possibly talk them into doing that again," he continued. "Their site, as far as an Alexa rating, is way up there, and has serious, serious numbers. I think they're around 1,200 on the Alexa, which is higher than most of the other Internet companies. So she also has footage of girls that – it seems she gets them before they sign with anybody, and she gets the cream of the crop, so it was just a natural marriage. Cezar Capone, Amateur District and Nerdpass have been doing extremely well, so I was more than impressed with the lineup of talent that she's been shooting."
Thus began the agreement that will bring Suze Randall's brand of gorgeous, lusty women – many of them shooting their first scenes ever for the world-renown photographer – back into video stores, in a series titled Suze Randall's XXX Top Models.
The series, which will debut in mid-June, will feature some of the top names in adult today – and all of their scenes were shot before the gals went on to sign contracts with the industry's biggest companies.
"I'm putting Nikki Jayne on the cover," detailed Amber, Suze Randall's assistant. "She's now contracted with Vivid, and the girl/girl scene in this is Nikki and Sophia Santi, who's now under contract to Digital Playground. I have Alexis Texas and Mr. Pete. I have Kagney Linn Karter, a new up-and-coming cutie, with Eric Swiss. I have Adam & Eve contract girl Kayden Kross with Charles Dera. I have Puma Swede, Kendall Brooks and Charles Dera in a really hot threesome. Hanna Hilton will be our extra bonus scene; it's virtual sex, and she's also contracted with Vivid."
"We have an incredible amount of content to cull from," Levine added, "so we're looking to release just some of the top girls. Alexis Texas has become pretty big, having won both AVN and XRCO awards. Kendall Brooks is one of my favorite people of all time, she's really cute and really funny and such a sweetheart, and I'm really excited that she's in the first movie."
"We have over a year's supply of content to be made into DVDs," Amber assured.."Some of our future volumes will include Gianna Michaels, Kagney Linn Karter, Daisy Marie, Abbey Brookes, Kristina Rose, Madison Scott, Teagan Presley, Shawna Lenee, Sasha Grey, Sarah Vandella, and more."
Levine hopes to release two volumes per month to begin with, then ramp up to four when the series takes off in stores.
"I think there's definitely a need for some high-end stuff," Levine opined. "These are not going to be heavy on the story; they're going to be heavy on the sex. These are going to be pretty much all-sex DVDs with the hottest girls in the business."
