One of Vivid's hottest contract girls has returned. After a two-and-a-half year absence, Sunrise Adams recently wrapped two new movies for the company.
"The reason for my leaving is that I was at a point where I wanted to see what else I could do with my life," said Adams, the 24-year-old niece of AVN Hall of Fame performer Sunset Thomas. "I was in a relationship at the time with someone who told me I needed to be a normal person. Obviously, I'm not a normal person either way. I quit and moved back to Texas to be closer to my family; during that time, I became a loan officer and worked in real estate for two years. I proved I was smart enough to do it, teaching myself at home and passing my test for the first time in California, Miami and Texas. I really enjoyed it, but sitting behind a desk and worrying about everybody else's problems was a lot for a young person to deal with...I was tired of the stress and worrying about everybody else's problems. I missed the old me."
Relaxing in the makeup chair on a box cover shoot for Vivid's Sex Addicts, Adams said that she is taking a full-throttle approach to her sexual performances. In fact, one of her upcoming Vivid movies had to be rewritten when she decided to expand her sexual repertoire. "I was going to come back and do just a little bit of boy/girl, and mainly girl/girl," she explained. "I finally decided, 'Fuck it. I'll do it all,' so they had to change the entire script to fit that."
Since her return to porn, Adams has performed in scenes with Sunny Lane, Hillary Scott and Lisa Daniels. "It's so good to be back on set," she said. “So far, it’s been very exciting. My boyfriend, who is now getting into the business, is a very famous stunt-bike rider. He’s a very sexual person, too; he just did his first scene. It was a threeway with me and another girl, and it was absolutely amazing.”
Sunrise is most excited about her new website sunriseadams.com, which launched Dec. 12. “This is the first time I’ve had a website, and yes, I got the dot-com address,” she laughed. “I want to do something with my fans that you don’t see other girls doing – I’m going to be a big part of the site myself. It’s me, my boyfriend and another friend of ours running it, so we’re keeping it very close-knit. I’m going to be shooting fetish content for the site myself. My fans can request special films made by me, they can buy any of the lingerie they see me wearing in my movies. I’ll have a live chat with a web-cam. I want the fans to really get a feel for who I am.”
Sunrise will be signing for Vivid Jan. 10-13 at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo at the Sands Expo Center inside the Venetian Hotel.
