LAS VEGAS - Sunny Leone is about to show the world her "dark side".
AVN spoke to Sunny this afternoon as she was getting ready for tonight's big premiere of her movie Dark Side of the Sun at the Erotic Heritage Museum in Las Vegas. The new flick is the first from Sunny's production company SunLust Pictures, and she's excited to see how it goes over with her fans.
"This movie is something I've never done before," Sunny told AVN. "Most of my movies have been happy and 'sunny', but this is dark and fetish-y, with lots of leather, whips, and chains. We've got about 100 minutes of just hardcore sex, and the quality is very high, so I'll be surprised if anyone isn't satisfied!"
Starting at 8 p.m., the movie will be displayed on no less than 43 screens throughout the museum. Sunny will be on hand to meet and greet fans, along with special guests Monique Alexander, Tera Patrick, and other stars. The evening caps with a special 10 p.m. performance by Evan Seinfeld's band the Spyderz.
With Sunny featured in four of the movie's five fetishistic sex scenes, Dark Side shows the popular Vivid Girl in both dominant and submissive roles.
"It's about me discovering my darker side," she said. "It starts with [offscreen boyfriend] Ariel King dominating me; it's my first all-internal [come shot] scene. Ariel shows me the way, and then I dominate my partners in the other scenes."
Sunny's other partners in the movie include hotties Celseste Star and Brea Lynn. Penny Flame and Tony DeSergio are featured in the only scene without Leone.
Ms. Leone prasied former ClubJenna director Luther King (no relation to Ariel) for adult biz vet Jim Enright for their top-notch work on the movie.
"Luther did an amazing job as director, and Jay is terrific, as well," she said. "We wanted to come out strong and keep it simple for this first SunLust movie, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. We didn't cut any corners, and I think we got some really cool ideas on screen. I'm excited about the premiere tonight!"
The Erotic Heritage Museum will present encore screenings of Dark Side of the Sun on Saturday, with Sunny scheduled to appear from 2 - 4 p.m.
