Sunny Leone Sets Las Vegas Premiere for 'Dark Side of the Sun'

LAS VEGAS - VIvid contract girl Sunny Leone will celebrate the first release from her production company SunLust Pictures with a gala premiere this weekend at Harry Mohney's Erotic Heritage Museum.

Dark Side of the Sun stars Sunny with Brea Lynn, Celeste Star, Ariel King, and Penny Flame. Directed by former Club Jenna auteur Luther King, the movie arrives in stores Friday through an exclusive distribution deal with Vivid.

"We knew that we needed to do something special for the first SunLust Pictures release," said Sunny. "We have worked hard to produce a great movie, and with Vivid backing us, we know it will be a success. We needed to make sure we had a premiere that was as special and sexy as the movie itself."

Kicking off with a red carpet premiere at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, the weekend-long event will include multiple screenings of the movie, a meet-and-greet with Sunny, and a musical performance by Evan Seinfeld's band, The Spyderz.

In the new movie, Sunny set out to capture "a different vibe" than her previous porn flicks. She developed the concept with director King and cast the movie herself.

"When Sunny and I first talked about doing a movie, I knew she wanted something different than anything she had done before," said King. "Sunny's beauty is unrivaled and her smile is blinding, but I wanted to see what her deviant side was like. I wanted to see what she really wanted to do; some of these things we couldn't shoot, 'cause people truly would have been shocked. What we got in this movie is pure passion from the back alleys of Sunny's fantasies!"

The Erotic Heritage Museum houses over 25,000 square feet of erotic art and 48 LCD TV screens. For this special event, all eyes will be on Sunny Leone and Dark Side of the Sun.

Dark Side... will receive encore screenings Friday at 10 p.m. and midnight following the red carpet premiere. On Saturday, Feb. 7, the movie will screen five times, starting at 1 p.m. and continuing every two hours.

Sunny will be on hand to sign autographs for fans throughout Friday night's festivities, and from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday.

For the grand finale, The Spyderz will take the stage at 10 p.m. on Saturday to perform a special set of high-energy rock 'n' roll. The concert is included in the general admission charge for the Erotic Heritage Museum.

"I am really excited about the release of this movie," Sunny said. "We needed a way to really blow off steam, and what better way than with some kick-ass rock and roll?"
