Sunny Leone Appears in New Comedy From Ferrell, McKay

LOS ANGELES—Adult A-lister and former Penthouse Pet of the Year Sunny Leone gets to essentially portray herself on the big screen in new teen comedy The Virginity Hit, produced by famed comic team Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and hitting theaters in limited release this Friday, September 10.

A mockumentary-style farce starring newcomers Andrew Gurland and Matt Bennett, The Virginity Hit follows the two on a quest to document Bennett losing his virginity. Leone appears in the movie alongside Daniel Weber, her real life partner in Vivid Entertainment-distributed production company SunLust Pictures. Weber and Sunny invite Bennett onto their tour bus, where the film's pivotal scene takes place. Music by Weber's band, Spyderz (in which he plays lead guitar), is licensed to the movie, as well.

"I get chosen as the favorite porn star of [Bennett] pretty early in the movie, and we eventually hook up with the goal of having sex," Leone said. "There is, however, a surprise twist in the plot. Making the movie was great fun and was a totally comfortable experience for me. It was shot in New Orleans, where we took over part of the city. Everyone on the set was very relaxed and we all hung out together."

Leone will attend the Los Angeles premiere for The Virginity Hit tonight. For more about the movie, including the trailer, click here.
