SugarDVD Completes Playboy TV Talent Search

“We had no idea the Playboy TV casting would be so much fun,” said SugarDVD CEO Jax, reflecting on the first season of casting new talent to appear on Playboy TV’s “Night Calls.”

The adult online DVD rental site reported that they’d recently completed six television episodes where a nationwide casting call was announced, providing girls across America with a chance to make their network debut with Playboy TV.

“Night Calls,” hosted by the starlets Jesse Jane and Kirstin Price, was the show SugarDVD chose to be the vehicle for the contest, as hundreds of girls submitted their photos in the hopes of getting selected to be flown to Hollywood and appear live on the air. The company said that the casting respondents represented many diverse backgrounds, as some of the aspiring girls were strippers, while others were wannabee starlets and a few were just the girl-next-door types.

“I thought this would be really fun and I couldn’t believe it when they called me to let me know I was selected,” said New York native Cassandra, who appeared on week three.

SugarDVD said that the outpouring of candidates not only surprised them, but Playboy TV’s Derek Harvie as well. Harvie, the producer of “Night Calls,” said he really enjoyed reviewing the photos of prospective girls with SugarDVD. “We received photos from very pretty girls all over the US making the selection process a very enjoyable time.”

SugarDVD and Playboy TV said that they will continue offering ladies from across the nation the chance to make their TV debut when the next season begins in August. The selected candidates that are over 18 and living in the United States will be flown round trip to LA, where they will make a guest appearance on “Night Calls,” put up in a luxury hotel and given plenty of spending cash.
