The well-known adult movie location based in Canoga Park, Calif., is fully renovated and operational with a full-time staff of six set builders and designers.

“Everything is going in the right direction,” said Studio 8033 owner Sascha Koch.

Koch, a native of Stuttgart, Germany who is also a veteran performer, started his location business with one studio in 2004. As neighboring businesses moved out, he eventually acquired all the spaces next to his original studio to give him a total of six on the property.

He spent the last year building and renovating Studio 8033, formerly Remmet Studios, to get it to where it is now.

“It’s been great, we’ve been really busy,” Koch said.

Studio 8033 now also owns the building across the street which it uses specifically for set construction. Koch said he bought the building so that the commotion from creating new sets wouldn’t interfere with the live shoots happening at Studio 8033.

Koch also noted that his builders are able to construct ceilings complete with lights if a production company needs that kind of set.

“Like regular living rooms,” he said. “They’ve got it down, they’re really good. I’m amazed at what they can do.”

Studio 8033 regularly hosts all the most reputable producers in adult entertainment. It was the location for recent features such as Batman XXX (Axel Braun Productions/Vivid Entertainment Group), Who’s Nailin’ Paylin? (Hustler Video), This Ain’t Happy Days XXX (Hustler Video) and Fly Girls (Digital Playground).
