An 18-year-old Butte College student who thought she was posing for "artistic" Internet photos has sued the photographer for posting her images instead on a members-only nude-amateurs Website.
Tamara Rogers is suing Chico photographer Donny Pauling to pull her photos down and remove any and all other unauthorized photographs on his site, according to the Chico Enterprise-Record.
Rogers told the paper the advertisement she answered promised she could make up to $5,000 posing for the "artistic" photographs, but the only thing she got was to be called a "porn star" by some classmates.
Pauling, however, told the Enterprise-Record that Rogers not only posed willingly for his site but had also helped create her own Web page and was there when other nude modeling offers came in for her. Regardless, the paper added, Pauling - who said Rogers is "completely, 100 percent lying," pulled her images offline "as a precaution."
