Strippers & Hustlers Ball Coming to Vegas

LAS VEGAS — The organizers of the Exotic Erotic Ball have announced their latest mega-event: The Strippers and Hustlers Ball, set for Labor Day weekend at The Orleans Arena in Vegas.

Featuring such personalities as The Porcelain Twinz and Bobbi Billard, plus exotic fashion shows, erotic art, psychics, massage, novelties and other attractions, the event is a celebration of stripping as an art form.

"I'm very excited," said Exotic Erotic Ball founder Perry Mann. "We've been looking at coming to Las Vegas for a few years. We thought the prospect of bringing a giant party to a bona fide arena like The Orleans during a destination weekend like Labor Day was a fantastic opportunity. I'm pulling out all the stops for this one!"

There is a dress code for the affair: Men as hustlers, women as strippers, both in black and pink as the primary colors.

"It's not a full costume event," said Mann, "but everyone needs to dress their sexiest and wear mostly black and pink."

There will be two competitions during the Ball: An indie music contest whose winner will get the chance to perform there, and of course a stripping competition with $25,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs. Categories for the latter are Best Body, Best Dancer and Best Pole Dancer. Semifinals will be held the first day of the show, and finals the second.

Other notables expected to be on hand include Scooter and Lavelle, Unkle Paul (a.k.a. Paul Nathan) and Akira Lane. Nathan will be bringing along his Wheel of Depravity, and hip-hop artist Chuck Nutt will perform the Ball's theme song, "My Stripper Lover," co-written by Mann. In addition, Mobius8 will be putting on his multi-media shows each night.

"We're so thrilled to have Mobius8 on board DJing both nights," said producer Howard Maukopf. "Although it's sure hard to call him a DJ - he's more like a futuristic mad conductor who commands light and sound to morph and bend according to his will. He is a special talent, his show is amazing, and people are going to love it."

The Strippers and Hustlers Ball runs from 9 p.m. - 4 a.m. August 30 and 31. For more information, visit www.strippersandhustlersball.com.
